At Bekend Tuinmeubelen Winkel, we strive to deliver your garden furniture and accessories as quickly and safely as possible. Below you’ll find all the details about our shipping process.

Order Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.

Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

We offer two shipping options to meet your needs:

• Standard Shipping: Via DHL or FedEx
  • Delivery time: 10-15 business days after shipment
  • Shipping fee: €12.95
• Free Shipping: Via EMS (for orders over €50)
  • Delivery time: 15-25 business days after shipment
  • Free for orders over €50

Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this to monitor your package’s journey to your home.

Returns & Exchanges

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase from Bekend Tuinmeubelen Winkel. If you’re not happy with your item, you may return it within 15 days of receipt.

Our Return Policy

We accept returns of most products within 15 days of delivery, provided they are in their original condition and packaging. Please note the following important exceptions:

• Watering cans (Gieters): Cannot be returned for hygienic reasons if used
• Green indoor plants and hanging plants (Groene kamerplanten en hangplanten): Living plants cannot be returned due to their delicate nature
• Personalized or custom-made products: These are made specifically for you and cannot be returned
• Products without original packaging or that are damaged

Return Process

Follow these steps to return your product:

1. Submit a return request within 15 days of receipt by email to [email protected] using the template below
2. Wait for approval – You’ll receive a return number and instructions within 2 business days
3. Package the product carefully – Use the original packaging and include all parts and documents
4. Ship the package – Use a traceable shipping method to:

5. Confirm shipment – Send us the tracking number once the package is shipped

Return Request Template

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return:

• Your refund will be processed within 5-10 business days
• The refund will be issued to the original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB or PayPal)
• Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error

For exchanges, you will receive a confirmation and the new product will be shipped once we receive your return package.

Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a defective or damaged product:

• Contact us within 48 hours of receipt
• Include photos of the damage and packaging in your email
• We will send a replacement or process a refund as quickly as possible

For our high-quality garden furniture and outdoor accessories, we offer an extensive warranty. Please contact us for warranty claims.

International Returns

For customers outside the Netherlands:

• You are responsible for return shipping costs
• Use a traceable shipping method and keep the tracking number
• Ensure all customs forms are correctly marked as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional charges
